Are you suffering from pain? Are you at the end of your wits because you have tried everything and painkillers are just not helping anymore.
Many people suffer from physical pain in their bodies. There is a whole range of physical and emotional issues that can create pain in the body: arthritis, ME, MS and fibromyalgia are just a few.
EFT – Emotional Freedom Techniques (also known as Tapping) is a method that uses the principles of acupuncture from Chinese medicine, which has been effective for many thousands of years. In Chinese medicine, it is believed that our life force or chi moves through energy lines in the body known as the meridian system.
When energy is blocked, problems arise physically mentally and emotionally. EFT is a psychological and emotional acupuncture “without needles”.
By tapping on specific acupuncture points, we can release the blocked energy that is causing the blockage, that has resulted in the physical, emotional or mental issues the client has.
What causes the “Blocked Energy?” It could come about through situations in your life that have had an impact on you physically, emotionally or mentally. For example, being shouted at or hit by a parent or teacher when you were a child. The whole experience has become encoded in the brain and body as physical pain and emotions such as fear, shock, powerlessness etc. Sounds and commands such as: “you are so stupid” are perceptions which can become embedded unconsciously in your mind and influence your life.
Your pain may have a physical cause such as an accident. EFT will help reduce the pain so that the body can heal itself. However, if conflicting emotions were present at the time of the accident, these will have to be addressed because we may have created beliefs about our experiences that may not be true but have influenced your life.
There are many EFT techniques, specific processes that can help you with physical pain. One is to just to place your awareness on your pain and just TAP on a set of acupressure points in sequence for a few minutes. My favourite technique and one I use on myself is the “chase the pain technique”. It works by doing a few rounds of EFT on the issue and following the pain, sensations and feelings in the body while reducing its impact: VERY POWERFUL!
So if you are in pain and want to find a way to reduce or manage it better, there are many helpful videos on YouTube from thousands of practitioners (including yours truly), however, a EFT practitioner will treat you and your pain specifically.
Your comments or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Many Blessings
